• • EXTENDED LEG U–BOLTS HAVE APPROXIMATELY 50MM EXTRA THREAD LENGTH ON THE LEGS THAN STANDARD U–BOLTS. ALL OUR U–BOLTS ARE SUPPLIED WITH TWO HEX NUTS TO SUIT.
• • Extended U Bolts are referred to by a number of names; including Long U Bolts, Extra Long U Bolts, Long Tangent U Bolts and Extended Leg U Bolts and host longer legs – otherwise referred to as tangents – and more thread than a standard U Bolt.
• • The long legs on the Extended U Bolts are perfect for mounting to thick flanges.
• • These Long U Bolts are very similar to the standard U Bolt, but their longer ‘legs’ support pipe work such as gas, water, or air conditioning piping that often requires more clearance than a standard bolt would provide.
• • Predominantly manufactured from mild or Stainless Steel, the Extended U Bolt is essentially a single piece of material that is threaded either side and bent into the shape of the letter U.
• • Extended pattern U Bolts are available as standard in mild Steel Zinc Plate and A2 and A4 Stainless Steel.
• • Available from Fastenright in thread diameters ranging from M6 to M16.
• • Non-standard sizes, materials and finishes are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and custom parts made to drawings.
